WEEKLY REPORT - 24th September 2025

Friday 19th September 2025 - there were 26 dancers attended

Monday 22nd September 2025 - there were 34 dancers attended

Wednesday 24th September 2025 - there were 39 dancers attended

Monday 29th September 2025 the dance program will start at the Line Dances.

all other dances will commence from the last "programmed" dance from the previous venue.

PENRITH BALLROOM BIG BASH - 9th August 2025

just over 100 attended - a great turnout and happy faces.

FRIDAY DANCES

We have organised an additional dance at the Penrith Seniors Citizens' Centre for the third Friday of the month during 2024/2025 between 6:30pm to 9:45pm. It will be a social event only (no lessons). Hopefully we can make this viable with good patronage. The scheduled dates are as:

THE FINE PRINT

· Due to complaints from other hall users, not related to dancing, we are not to use talcum powder during dancing activities. Also please refrain from placing shoes on chairs. The Penrith Seniors Citizen Centre committee has ask me to pass on these conditions.

· Please be reminded that when entering or leaving the hall when dancers are using the floor and in particular when you are not dancing during the venue do not walk across the floor to interfere with people who are dancing. Please walk as close to the wall and around dancers.

New sequence dances that were introduced in 2025:

1. Bellissimo Cha Cha.

2. Louisa Waltz

3. Ashlee Louise Waltz

The following four pages are the Ashlee Louise Waltz scripts (two pages for the Man's Steps and two pages for the Lady's Steps). Please note the script was interpreted by us by incessantly watching Youtube videos (most identified with different steps and alignments). It is our knowledge that the choreographer did not release a script for public use. Nevertheless, a recent script has been released. Our script have been written with different style and somewhat different terminology from the recent script and hopefully will give dancers another version what the choreographer originally created. Please enjoy this complex modern waltz sequence which is now becoming very popular along the Eastern Australian seaboard.
